Each year the university identifies several projects or giving priorities that will support our students and our campus’ growth to meet the needs of 21st century higher education. Below are the current major giving priorities.
The number one challenge many of our students face is finding a way to afford their education. Almost all WAU students receive some type of financial aid, yet most students still struggle to bridge the gap between their financial aid and the cost of Christian education. Your support helps ensure our students can afford to attend a Christian University.
Health Professions Building
Envisioned as the new home to the university’s health profession departments, this new building will provide a vibrant opportunity for the holistic development of individuals through education, health and wellness. In additional to instructional space, the building will have 7 state-of-the-art laboratories and 14 collaborative study spaces.
Annual Fund- Fulfilling Vision 2020
The university’s long term plan, Vision 2020, is our guide to ensure our student’s are successful, that we grow strong and vibrant academic programs, infuse internships across our curriculum, increase the use of technology across campus, and continually grow the campus. A gift to the Annual Fund allows the university the flexibility to put funds to work to accomplish Vision 2020.
Music Center Phase Two
The Phase two expansion of the Music Center will be a performance center for the university’s four internationally renowned performance organizations. The expansion will connect to the current Music Center to facilitate the study, practice, and teach of the performing arts through the integration of curriculum and performance for students.
