Alumni Weekend Kick-off Social
7:30 p.m. - 9:00p.m. - Location-Wilkinson Hall Lobby
Start the weekend right! Come celebrate with fellow alumni and enjoy food, prizes, and a unique WAU Photo experience.

Friday

Cherry Blossom Brunch -$15
9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. - Dining Hall, Wilkinson Hall 2nd Fl & downtown DC
Join fellow Alumni for Brunch and a trip down town to see the beautiful Washington, DC Cherry Blossoms. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the tidal basin area and the heart of the DC Cherry Blossom Festival.

President’s Reception
5:00 p.m. - The Votaw House
Join the University President Dr. Weymouth Spence at The Votaw House for the Presidential Reception. This evening reception will include light refreshments and an opportunity to hear an update on the university.
* Parking is located across the street at the Sligo Church parking lots. **Arrangements can be made for those with walking difficulties.

Reflections Vespers
7:00 p.m.- Sligo Adventist Church
This is the traditional university vespers service featuring student speakers, the dedication service for the 2014 WAU Student Missionaries, the presentation of the Student Zella Holbert Service Award, and performances from the WAU Campus Ministry teams.  

Singspiration Vespers
8:45 p.m. - Campus Activity Center
This uniquely WAU worship service is filled with music and celebration of God's love and blessings.

Our campus church welcomes you to worship with us for Alumni Weekend. Our featured speaker Pastor Dr. Kendra Haloviak Valentine (’89). Worship will include performances by the Columbia Collegiate Choral and the New England Youth Ensemble.

Honor Class Luncheon – $10
After 11:15 a.m. Worship Service - WAU Activity Center
For all our honor class members, please plan to join us in the new Campus Activity Center for a special lunch for you and your family. Honor class photos will take place at during this time.  The Campus activity center is located next to the Gym and behind the Health Science building.

Lunch –Non Honor Classes $15

We invite you to enjoy Saturday lunch with us in the new remodeled WAU Dining Hall. Tickets may be purchased in advance.

Join the Department of Communications for an afternoon of connections. Meet current students and see how they are preparing for their careers in Communications and share your experiences in your field with them.   

Library Open House
3:00 – 5:00 p.m - Weis Library
Join fellow alumni in the Library for a walk down memory lane with yearbooks and WMC, CUC, and WAU memorabilia.

Pathfinder Bible Experience
3:00 p.m. - Sanctuary, Sligo Church
The Pathfinder Bible Experience is the Official North American Division Pathfinder Bible study program. Teams from across the Division participate in the final level of testing at different levels. Comes support the future of the Adventist Church and potential future WAU Alumni.

Alumni Ambassadors Training
5:00-6:00, Location TBD
The Alumni Ambassador Program uses our alumni talents and excitement for Washington Adventist University to assist the Admissions Staff in sharing information about the College, recruiting new students, encouraging students to attend WAU. Learn how to "Share your experience and Shape their decision."

Alumni Awards Banquet- Tickets Required $35
7:30-10:30 p.m. - Sheraton Silver Spring, 8777 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910
This is an elegant evening of music and dining to recognize the alumni of the university who are leaders in their professional field and continue to contribute to the university.  The event will take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Silver Spring. There is free parking located next to the Hotel or attendees may valet park for a fee. Bus transportation to and from campus will also be provided.

Sunday

WAU Mission’s 5K Run/Walk
10:30 a.m. - WAU Commons
This event supports WAU’s mission department and our campus outreach organizations. You can both run in or sponsor the event. Families, kids, and dogs are welcome! To register please visit the 5K Fun Run link to your right.

Alumni Association Business Meeting and Brunch - $10

WAU Family Fun Festival
12:00 – 5:00 p.m. - WAU Commons

WAU’s annual Family Fun Festival is a community celebration during WAU’s alumni weekend. This popular event draws crowds of more than 4,000 from around the D.C. area to our campus.  The festival provides an opportunity for the community to experience the wealth of resources available in education and health at Washington Adventist University and Adventist HealthCare. All activities will be geared toward fun and learning for all ages.
