Born in Jamaica, WI, Professor Swaby has worked as an accountant, banker, and analyst at various corporations in the United States and as an accountant and teacher in Jamaica. He has also taught in the Master’s program at Washington Adventist University. Currently he teaches accounting, economics and finance courses at the undergraduate level in the Department of Business at Washington Adventist University.
Research and Professional Activities:
Professor Swaby’s doctoral studies in Organization and Management focus on organizational culture in higher education institutions. He has also written several courses in accounting, economics and finance; and provides private consulting to institutions such as the American Bankers’ Association.
