Born in Jamaica, Ms Hardware worked at the University of the West Indies Hospital for 2 years before migrating to the United States. Worked in several areas of nursing from the bedside to leadership, and supervising in a Nursing Home. She joined American Nurses Association and remained proactive for a while then focused on improving her skills and keeping abreast with the current trends in nursing at the bedside. Received the Bravo Award for consistently delivering outstanding patient care, from Washington Hospital center where she worked for over 23 years.
Research and Professional Activities:
She joined the Honor Society of Sigma Theta Tau International and was selected as one of the 2006 recipients of 100 Extra Ordinary Nurses from Howard University Hospital. Her Motto: God first, family next and work. She is involved in church, gardening and travel. She completed a game “Bible Appetizer” soon to be published.
