A native of the lovely island of Jamaica, Dr. Bradford’s educational experience span thirty years. She has worked with students from pre-school to the graduate level. Currently, she teaches in the Psychology Department of Washington Adventist University. She also is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Research and Professional Activities:
Dr. Bradford has a deep interest in issues that affect immigrant women, but are often ignored and minimized. Her dissertation focused on the experiences of immigrant adult caregivers. Her dream is to continue highlighting issues that impact the overall mental well being of immigrant women, thereby providing clinicians further insights on how they may provide appropriate mental health support to this segment of the population.
