Given the fact that Washington Adventist University is situated in the nation’s capital and in close proximity to Baltimore City, the Department of Music permits its music majors to audition with area artist teachers; and if they are accepted into the studio of the artist teacher and if the music faculty gives its permission, then the student may study with that teacher and receive University credit for those lessons.
