The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce that it has secured DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC for its May 5, 2013 Commencement exercises. Friday night Consecration service, the Sabbath morning Baccalaureate, and other departmental ceremonies will continue on the Sligo Church, Takoma Park campus. Commencement weekend for the class of 2013 is May 3 – May 5.

Beginning with the 2012-2013 academic year, WAU will hold only ONE graduation per year.
As usual, the University will host its traditional commencement ceremony following the conclusion of the spring semester. Diplomas will also continue to be issued at the end of the summer session and the fall semester, although no ceremonies will take place at those times.
Students who will be within six credits of completing their degrees at the conclusion of the Spring 2013 semester may petition to participate in this year’s commencement. All such petitions should be submitted to the Office of the Registrar no later than April 1, 2013.
