Elder Robinson is the fourth of six children born to the late William and Thelma Robinson of Cumberland, Virginia. He is an ordained minister of the gospel who has pastored over thirty-eight years. He pastored ten years in Lake Region Conference serving as pastor of Bethany Chapel, Elkhart, IN; First Church, Evanston, IL; Shalem Church, Waukegan, IL; and, Sharon Church, Inkster, MI. Since May of 1993, he has served as pastor of Bladensburg, Emmanuel-Brinklow, Berea Temple churches in Maryland and Serenity church in West Virginia, Ministerial Director, Director of Stewardship/Philanthropy/Planned Giving and Secretary/Vice-President for Administration of Allegheny East Conference. Currently, he serves as newly elected President for Allegheny East Conference.
Over the years, Elder Robinson has served on various church and community boards including the North American Division, Columbia Union, Allegheny East, and Lake Region Conference Executive Committees. Presently, Dr. Robinson serves on the Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center Board of Trustees in Silver Springs, MD.
Dr. Robinson is married to the former Maryann Lewis of Nassau Bahamas. They are both graduates of Andrews University. Elder Robinson received the Doctorate of Ministry from Andrews University Theological Seminary in 2008. Maryann is a registered nurse with a PhD in Organizational Management who serves as a Captain in the United States Public Health Service. To their union of over 43 years, they have two daughters (Marquita and Marcia), two sons by marriage (Karl Burnett and Brian Moore), three granddaughters (Malia, Maegan, and Maya), and one grandson, Malachi.
