Terry Forde is President and CEO of Adventist Health Care, Inc. which operates Washington Adventist Hospital, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, and other healthcare institutions. Terry became a member of the Washington Adventist University Board May, 2014.Â
Previously, Terry was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Adventist Health Care, Inc. As a senior member of the Adventist HealthCare team, he was responsible for the organization’s operations and entities in the Maryland market.Â
Terry has served in a range of leadership roles over the past 17 years with healthcare organizations in Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado. From 2007–2011, he was Chief Executive Officer for Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colorado, and from 2003-2007, he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, Colorado. During his tenures, Terry helped guide the two organizations through renovation and expansion, including two major capital projects totaling $177M.Â
Throughout his nearly 20-year career, Terry has served on numerous boards in the fields of economic development and education, in addition to other non-profits.Â
Terry received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1993, and his M.B.A. from Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas in 1996.
