General

Academic Search Complete
A multidisciplinary database that includes magazines and journals about many subjects in the humanities, social sciences, medicine, sciences, and beyond. More than 8,500 of these publications are available in full-text; and nearly 7,300 of the publications contain articles that are peer-reviewed by experts.


eBook Collection
A searchable database that contains over 205,000 of multidisciplinary e-book titles representing a broad range of academic subject matter, including art, business, education, history, law, mathematics, political science, religion, and science. For each title, the database provides access to the full-text of the publication.

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
An online encyclopedia that contains over 25,000 entries on a wide variety of subjects. Each entry provides introductory information about its subject, and many of the entries include cross-references – keywords that are hyperlinked to access other encyclopedia entries related to the one being read.

JSTOR
A database of academic journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. For each journal, the coverage begins at the first issue published and extends to a publication date within the past three to five years. The collection contains core journals in the fields of art, economics, history, political science, sociology, language, ecology, mathematics, literature, music, and religion.

MasterFILE Premier
A multidisciplinary database that provides full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals. It covers virtually every subject area of general interest, contains the full text for nearly 500 reference books, and includes over 164,000 primary source documents. It also contains an image collection of over 592,000 photos, maps and flags.

National Newspaper Core
A database of searchable national and local newspapers, including The Baltimore Sun, The Christian Science Monitor, The Lansing State Journal, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. For each newspaper, the database provides access to the full-text dating from the 1980s or 1990s to the present.

Oxford Reference
A searchable database of more than 300 academic subject, language, and quotations dictionaries published by Oxford University Press. The topics include art, history, language, law, literature, medicine, music, performing arts, quotations, philosophy, religion, science, social sciences, technology, and more.

Business

ABI/INFORM Global
A comprehensive database for business and financial information that contains over 4,700 publications, including full-text journals, trade books, dissertations, conference proceedings, and market reports. Subjects include business conditions, management techniques, business trends, management practice and theory, corporate strategy and tactics, and the competitive landscape.

Business Source Premier
A business research database that provides full text for more than 2,300 journals and contains 1,100 peer-reviewed titles. It covers all disciplines of business, including accounting, finance, economics, marketing, management, management information systems, and production and operations management. This database extends back to 1886 and has searchable cited references back to 1998.

Regional Business News
A database that provides full-text access to regional business publications from the United States and Canada. It includes more than 40 publications covering both metropolitan and rural areas in North America, and contains content taken from newspapers, radio and television news transcripts, trade publications, magazines and newswires. Full-text access is available back to 1990.

Chronicle of Higher Education
A print and online publication that provides news, data, and special reports about colleges and universities in the United States. The online edition includes news reports, advice columns, discussion forums, and job listings related to higher education. The subjects covered regularly include faculty, students, administration, leadership and governance, and technology.

Education Resource Information Center (ERIC)
A database that provides access to education literature and resources. It includes information from journals covered by the Current Index of Journals in Education and from non-journal sources covered by the Resources in Education Index. The database contains more than 1.6 million records and links to nearly 750,000 full-text documents dating back to 1966.

MAS Ultra: School Edition
A database that contains the full text for nearly 500 popular magazines of interest to high school students. It also includes more than 360 full text reference books, nearly 86,000 biographies, and over 107,000 primary source documents. There is also an image collection of over 500,000 photos, maps, flags, and PDFs.

Teacher Reference Center
A database that provides indexing and abstracts for 280 of the most popular teacher and administrator journals and magazines to assist professional educators. The range of topics covered include assessment, best practices, curriculum development, instructional media, literacy standards, school administration, and teacher education.

Gale Literature
A database that provides e-book access to the full-text of several literary biography and criticism reference works. The titles include the Dictionary of Literary Biography, Contemporary Literary Criticism, Short Story Criticism, Poetry Criticism, and Drama Criticism. For each title, the volumes published in 2015 and later can be browsed, searched, and downloaded.

Health Source: Consumer Edition
A database that provides access to consumer health information through nearly 80 full-text consumer health magazines. The topics covered by the database include the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
A database that includes over 320 full text scholarly journals focusing on nursing and allied health professions. It covers topics like pediatric nursing, critical care, mental health, nursing management, medical law and more. The database indexes and abstracts over 840 periodicals, and nearly 250 of the full-text journals are peer-reviewed.

ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source
A database that provides access to healthcare information covering nursing, allied health, alternative and complementary medicine, and more. It indexes and abstracts or provides full-text to nearly 2,000 periodicals. The database also includes nursing reference books, dissertations, and videos. The topics represented include cytology, nutrition, oncology, pediatric care, public health, and radiology.

Music

Music Index with Full-Text
A database that provides indexing, abstracting, and full-text for articles about music, musicians, and the music industry. It covers every aspect of both classical and popular fields of music, indexes more than 475 periodicals since 1970, and includes news, book reviews, and obituaries.

Naxos Music Library
A database of online classical music. It offers streaming access to nearly 154,000 CDs and over 2.3 million tracks of both standard and rare repertoire. The library includes the complete Naxos and Marco Polo catalogues plus the complete catalogues or selected titles from over 650 record labels. Over 800 new CDs are added to the library every month. Along with classical music, jazz, world, and pop/rock are also represented.

Oxford Music Online
A database that provides access to an online collection of dictionaries and encyclopedias about music and musicians. They include The Grove Dictionary of American Music, The Grove Dictionary of Musical Instruments, The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, The New Grove Dictionary of Opera, The Oxford Companion to Music, and the Oxford Dictionary of Music, and The Encyclopedia of Popular Music.

Political Studies

Military & Government Collection
A database designed to offer current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government. It provides access to periodicals, academic journals, and other content relevant to those areas of study. The database includes the full text for nearly 300 magazines and journals and indexing and abstracts for more than 400 titles.

Psychology

PsycARTICLES
A database of full text, peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles in psychology. It contains over 200,000 articles from nearly 100 journals published by organizations like the American Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association. The database includes journal articles, book reviews, letters to the editor, and errata from psychology publications dating back to 1894.

PsycINFO
A database that provides abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations in the field of psychology. It contains over 4 million records and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s. The database coverage of journals spans from the 1800s to the present and includes international materials selected from around 2,500 periodicals in dozens of languages.

Religion

ATLA Historical Monographs Collection
Provides full-text access to historical books about religion and theology. Series 1 presents more than 15,000 titles from 13th Century through the 1893 World Parliament of Religions. Series 2 consists of nearly 15,000 titles published from 1894 through 1923 and presents a comprehensive picture of religion in America at the turn of the century.

ATLA Religion Database with ATLA Serials
An index for journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion and theology. It contains more than 620,000 article citations from over 1,746 journals; more than 250,000 essay citations from over 18,000 multi-author works; and more than 570,000 book review citations. Full-text access to over 380,000 electronic articles and book reviews is also provided.

Ellen G. White Writings
A database that contains the complete published writings of Ellen G. White in several languages. It includes books, periodical articles, pamphlets, manuscripts, and more. The database also provides access to biographical and reference works on Ellen G. White. The publications can be browsed, searched, downloaded, and shared.

ProQuest Religion
A database that provides access to over 200 full-text journals on religion. It contains scholarly content that supports religious and theological studies programs as well as other academic fields and general interests. These include journals, magazines, books, theses, dissertations, conference papers, newspapers, and more.

Seventh-day Adventist Obituary Index
A database that provides citations for obituaries found in Seventh-day Adventist Church sponsored and published periodicals. It includes obituaries that were reported to the periodicals and does not record all deceased church members. The database covers the period 1850 to the present.

Seventh-day Adventist Periodical Index
A database that provides citation indexing to over 70 past and present Seventh-day Adventist journals and magazines. The index covers the years 1973 to the present. The exception is the Review and Herald which is currently undergoing retrospective indexing beginning with 1972 at the rate of roughly one year’s worth of articles a month.

AccessScience
An online encyclopedia that covers all the major scientific disciplines. It contains more than 8,700 scientific articles, 115,000 scientific definitions, and 3,000 biographies of scientific figures. The database includes the content of McGraw-Hill’s Encyclopedia of Science and Technology and Yearbook of Science and Technology. It also offers links to primary research materials, videos and exclusive animations, and curriculum maps.

GreenFILE
A database that provides a collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles about the environment. It covers the environment and related disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology. The database includes indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records and the full text for over 4,700 records.

ProQuest SciTech Premium
A collection of databases covering 11,000 periodicals in scientific and technological disciplines. It includes citation and full-text access to journal articles, conference proceedings, reports and theses, and books and ebooks on subjects in the biological sciences, computer sciences, electronics and communications, and mechanical engineering.
