Biography:

Ms. Tenney is a board-certified music therapist and serves as the Music Therapy Clinical Coordinator/Practicum Supervisor at WAU. She has experience providing music therapy to various populations of children and adults, including immigrants and refugees, seniors, and individuals with special needs. Ms. Tenney was a recipient of a Community Fellowship through Open Society Institute-Baltimore. Through this fellowship, she founded and continues to serve as the director of RICH in Music: Refugee – Immigrant Connection & Healing, based in Baltimore. Ms. Tenney previously served on the Maryland Music Therapy State Task Force for Occupational Regulation, which subsequently achieved licensure for music therapists in Maryland.
