Gateway to Service….. Engaging Minds, Transforming Lives

Campus Preview Days 2016: September 25th and 26th

Campus Preview Day is an event that allows you to experience what life is like as a WAU student. You’ll get a first-hand glimpse of how we live and learn at WAU. You’ll immerse yourself in classes, labs, student groups, and residence halls. You’ll meet your professors, current students, and other faculty members and staff. Most importantly, you’ll see how you fit into our community and whether WAU is the right fit for you.

So mark your calendars! This year, Campus Preview Days will take place on September 25 & 26, 2016. We are currently hard at work planning and preparing for your arrival, and registration is now open!

Campus Preview Day is almost here! Not sure what to pack? We recommend you travel light.

There’s a lot to check out on our campus and we are located next door to the nation’s capital. Definitely plan on walking a lot while you are here, so be sure to bring comfortable shoes. Check the weather before you pack.

Bring clothes suitable for walking around campus, a flame-proof lab coat for Biology class, an instrument for the music course, and your glasses to do homework. Wait a minute… right… you aren’t a student here…yet…well it’s not rocket science; bring clothing that is comfortable. Don't forget to bring toiletries, a towel, a pillow, and a sleeping bag. Also, don’t worry about going hungry during the weekend. You will find a plethora of eating options at our buffet-style cafeteria. If you would like, bring extra cash to get yourself some WAU souvenirs at our bookstore.

Our campus is easily accessible by train, bus, and metro. Public transportation is how most people get to WAU on a daily basis.
