Welcome to WAU’s Net Price Calculator!
You have come to the right place. We are happy you are beginning to explore how to plan and pay for your college education. The Higher Education Opportunity Act defines net price as the net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking students. It is an estimate of what you and your family will need to contribute for one year at WAU.
The Net Price Calculator is a tool that allows students and families to estimate the net price of attending WAU. We hope the tool will give you a clear picture of financial options so you can make more informed decisions about your college choices.
How does it work? The calculator measures your family’s financial strength and uses other facts you provide to estimate the number of grants, scholarships, and other financial aid may be available to you. Your “net price” is the difference between that amount and the cost of attendance.
Even if you are not going to college soon, the net price calculator can still be helpful. Younger students and their parents can use the tool to learn about college costs and receive early financial aid information.
As you use the calculator, please remember:
The calculator is not an application for admission or financial aid.
The results will only be as reliable as the data you provide.
The calculator will only give you an estimate of your net price and aid eligibility. The financial aid office makes the final determination of your financial aid awards.
You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after October 1st of the year you plan to attend college.
Completing the calculator should take no more than 20 minutes. You will need to answer some basic questions about your parents’ financial situation, so it might be helpful to have recent tax forms or pay stubs on hand before you begin. Remember, the calculator provides a reasonable estimate, but it is not a guarantee of financial aid.
By using the Net Price Calculator, you agree to the College Board’s terms and conditions.
