Biography:

Bradford Haas is currently Chair of the Department of English and Modern Languages and the Director of the Honors College at Washington Adventist University.  Professor Haas is also the Chair of the advisory board for the David Jones Research Center (housed in the WAU Honors College), and also sits on the advisory board for the David Jones Digital Archive project that is part of the DJRC.

Research and Professional Activities:

Professor Haas has written articles, reviews, and curated exhibitions on the work of modernist poets and artists including David Jones, Basil Bunting, Louis Zukofsky, George Oppen, Charles Reznikoff, Ronald Johnson, Beatrice Riese, W.S. Graham, and Morris Cox. Other research interests include modernist bibliography; 20th century long poems; private presses; little magazines; 20th century art; pre-Tolkien fantasy literature; and the interplay between the material manifestations of literary texts and “reality.”
