Takoma Park, Md. (April 10, 2019) Due to the forecast of inclement weather, Washington Adventist University’s (WAU) administrative team has decided to postpone the annual Family Fun Fest to April 28, 2019 from noon- 5:00 PM. While we are disappointed that our preparation did not go as planned, we have scheduled our rain date in the event of such unforeseen circumstances.
As many vendors, sponsors and attendees may recall, the 2018 event was canceled due to the forecast of dangerous thunderstorms. Our rain date gives us and our vendors the opportunity to continue building relationships with members of our local community.
Through this transition, we are asking for your continued support as we strive to honor the tradition of hosting this grand event. We look forward to having our community on campus and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For more information, or if you have any concerns, please contact us at email@example.com or (301) 891- 4125.
