Full-year nursing scholarships are available to Students accepted into Washington Adventist University’s New RN-MSN Program that starts January 10-14, 2016

Takoma Park, MD (December 14, 2015) Students accepted into the new RN-MSN program at Washington Adventist University (WAU) that starts the week of January 10 may be eligible for a scholarship that will cover up to 24 credits and all course fees. A limited number of these nursing scholarships are available for students in the accelerated evening degree program.

Eligible for the RN-MSN degree program are nurses who have already earned their Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from a state board of nursing approved program with regional accreditation, and who have R.N. licensure in Maryland or the District of Columbia. The program is offered by WAU’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies, and will enable nurses to move directly to their master’s degree in either the nursing education or nursing and business leadership tracks.

Interested nurses who have not yet applied for the new RN-MSN program should do that first by submitting their application. Once admitted to the program, they will need to fill out the application for nursing program scholarship form. It’s not too late to apply for the spring semester, which starts the week of January 10-14, 2016.

For more information about the new RN-MSN program or the available scholarships, contact Carol Cogen at 301-891-4092 or ccogen@wau.edu. Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to noon. The office will be closed for the holidays from December 24-January 1.
