Betty Howard Center for Student Success
The Betty Howard Center for Student Success and Faculty Development supports students and faculty achieve success as you pursue your educational goals. Programs include: the Bridge Program, career services and cooperation education, disability services, honor societies, new student orientation, and faculty development.
Weis Library
Weis Library’s mission is to support the WAU learning community by providing the resources and services required to promote critical thinking, academic inquiry and scholarship. To fulfill this mission, the library acquires, organizes and maintains appropriate local resources; establishes links to sources of virtual information; and instructs the learning community on how to access and use information.
First Year Experience
First Year Experience (FYE) is designed to help new students learn the WAU culture, adjust to new academic challenges, and master the rigors of college life. The program is a university-wide effort to help new students feel a part of the community as they learn how to be a successful at college. The program combines thoughtful instruction, cooperative learning, experiential activities, and spiritual support in a small class setting to provide new students with a great beginning at WAU.
