Biography:

An educator for over 20 years in Radiological Sciences, Kristin Mitas is currently the Chair and Program Director for the Department of Medical Imaging at Washington Adventist University. Prior to the Medical Imaging program coming to WAU, she led the Washington Adventist Hospital Radiologic Technology Program as the Director. It has been under Kristin’s leadership that the program transitioned from WAH to WAU, and that WAU has been able to add a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Medical Imaging to its list of program offerings.

Professional Activities:

Kristin Mitas serves as a senior board member and speaker for the Maryland Society of Radiologic Technologists.
