Professor Griffin is a native of Washington, DC. She started teaching at Washington Adventist University (WAU) as an adjunct professor in 2008. In 2010, she joined the nursing department as a full time faculty member. Before coming to WAU, she worked at Washington Adventist Hospital for over 20 years in critical care and surgery.

Research and Professional Activities:

Professor Griffin is in the dissertation phase of her doctoral studies at Capella University. Her goals include become a certified educator and teaching nursing students online.
