Model United Nations and CAPITALMUN

Honors College students are engaged in and with the world. MUN at WAU is just one of many Honors College global initiatives. Our CAPITALMUN Conferences brings MUN to life right on our campus. See how you can be a part of Model United Nations at WAU.

Pre-Law and The Center for Law and Public Policy

The Center for Law and Public Policy aims to prepare students for careers in law and/or public policy and to encourage dynamic civil discourse on a wide range of issues. The Center also houses the WAU Pre-Law and Mock Trial programs.

Global Opportunities

At WAU, Washington, DC is our Gateway to the World. Our Center for Global Programs helps students find international opportunities such as Study-on-Location programs, Model United Nations, Adventist Colleges Abroad, dynamic programs in downtown Washington, DC, and a variety of courses with a global focus.

We believe that meaningful international learning and service opportunities are a critical and vital component of an excellent university education. The Center for Global Programs facilitates transformative global learning and cross-cultural engagement opportunities for WAU Honors College students. We call it ‘Going Global.’

Center for Law and Public Policy

The Center for Law and Public Policy aims to prepare students for careers in law and/or public policy. What better place to do that than in Washington, D.C. The Center houses the WAU Pre-Law and Mock Trial programs and offers a range of academic courses that focus on the law, politics, and policy.

The DJRC is devoted to the study and works of the poet and artist David Jones. Housed at WAU, the center collaborates with other global institutions to foster original scholarship concerning Jones and other subjects.
