Express Mail: Additional fees will vary depending on destination (Domestic vs. International).  Request would need to be made before 10 a.m. to be mailed the same day. Otherwise, it will be processed the following business day. (Option only available for mailed transcripts and not electronic transcripts).

• Electronic PDF Transcripts: Electronic PDF transcripts are generally processed within 3-5 working days after receipt of your order. Please be sure the intended recipient will accept an official electronic transcript before selecting this option. To avoid potential problems with spam filters, please instruct the recipient to allow emails from Parchment (noreply@parchment.com)

Delivery Method: Electronic transcripts are issued in a secure digital PDF format that must be downloaded by the recipient within 30 days.  The recipient will receive instructions on how-to download the eTranscript.  The recipient may download the eTranscript up to three times within 30 days after it is issued.

• Paper Transcripts: Paper transcripts are processed within 3-5 business days after receipt of your order and are subject to domestic and international shipping costs. Express shipping options are available for selection during the transcript ordering process. Please note: Express shipping costs are in addition to the cost of the transcript and will vary depending on destination (Domestic vs. International).

Your order may be delayed for the following reasons:

• Attachments: You have the ability to upload documents that must accompany your official transcript. Your attachment will be reviewed and is subject to approval. This may cause a slight delay in processing.

• Non-Computerized Students: If you attended prior to our records being digitized there will be a delay in processing as non-computerized records are maintained in an alternate location. Please plan for an additional 3 days for processing time.

• Name Change: You had a name change since attending the institution.  If when you created your account you either had not filled out the name variation section or the name you provided was not the name you attended under there can potentially be a delay in processing time.

• Peak transcript ordering time/Holidays: You may be requesting a transcript during peak times in the Office of the Registrar (i.e. registration, graduation, etc…) or the University is closed for a holiday (i.e. Christmas vacation: where University is closed for at least a week during Christmas break).

Can I pickup my transcript in-person?

No, all transcript orders must be placed online through Parchment.  The Office of the Registrar will not hold paper transcripts for in-person pickup.

Can I expedite my transcript order?

Electronic PDF transcripts are generally processed within 3-5 business days. For paper transcripts, Parchment offers an express shipping option at additional cost. The additional fees will vary depending on its destination.

How do I get an unofficial copy of my transcript?

Students can view or print their unofficial transcript on

The Registrar’s office will not issue unofficial transcripts

Why did I receive a “No Record Found” message when placing my transcript order? 

• Name Change: You had a name change since attending the institution. If when you created your account you either had not filled out the name variation section or the name you provided was not the name you attended under. 

• Washington Adventist Hospital Student (For Radiologic Technology Students prior to August 2014): You only attended Washington Adventist Hospital for the Radiologic Technology program. Washington Adventist University maintains these records for the hospital.  Further information may be needed to locate your record.

• Dual Credit/Enrollment: You are were enrolled as a dual credit student and your high school/academy registration was not provided to the Office of the Registrar.

Why was my attached document removed from my transcript order? 

If you attached a document that the Office of the Registrar cannot authenticate or is not appropriate to be included with an official transcript, we will remove the uploaded document and proceed with processing your transcript order.

Washington Adventist University will re-send a mailed or electronic transcript to the same address at no charge after 15 days and up to 30 days from the date of initial order. Requests for re-send before 15 days or after 30 days of initial order will require the placement of a separate order.
