Honors College Curriculum

The Honors College curriculum is innovative, interdisciplinary, flexible and can be customized to your needs. Those who finish the Honors College curriculum earn an Honors Interdisciplinary degree in addition to their standard major area of study. That means you will major in the subject area of your choice and be an Honors Interdisciplinary major. The additional degree you earn is makes the Honors College unique.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOUR CURRICULUM?

There are two important things to mention here: First, taking the Honors General Education track will help you finish your general education courses more quickly, freeing up your schedule for the classes you want to take. See more details about first-year schedules here. Second, as an Honors Interdisciplinary major/minor you will be able to customize your academic experience by taking unique courses offered only to students in the Honors College. Finally, there are majors on campus that are unique to the Honors College, and these include English, History and Political Studies.
