Sales Professional
Duane Dorch is a seasoned technology sales professional with a long history with commercial and government sales and sales management experience, as well as experience with WAU. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1988 from what is today Washington Adventist University, and a Master of Business Administration in 2000 from Johns Hopkins University.
While an undergraduate, he formed a contract software and database development firm called SoftLink, which operated from 1985 to 1988. He joined PERFORMIX in 1988 as a senior systems analyst and later became regional sales executive for the Federal and Eastern regions. In 1997 he joined Compuware Corp. as a product line sales director. From 2004 to 2006, he was an account manager at Borland Software Corp. He founded Globalvision Home Automation in 2006, a technology centered home automation company. From 2007 to 2009 he was national account manager at Keynote Systems. Today he is a product sales director for the Gomez Business Unit of Compuware Corp.
Among other activities, he is on the Board of Directors of WGTS Broadcasting, Inc. as well as at Seabrook Church, and is a member of the Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce.
