An attorney with Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald in Northern Virginia, Hanna Blake focuses her practice on construction litigation and suretyship, representing contractors, owners, subcontractors and sureties in all aspects of public and private construction projects.Â
Hanna earned her law degree at Howard University in 2004, where she was a Merit Scholarship Recipient in 2001 and 2002. She has a BA in History/PreaLaw from Columbia Union College, magna cum laude, earned in 2001.Â
Hanna joined Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald as a firstayear associate after having clerked at the firm. She also clerked for a Washington, D.C.abased immigration law firm where she managed all labor certification cases, including the preparation of case packets for filing with the Department of Labor.Â
Hanna holds a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED AP) designation. The LEED® rating system is the nationallyarecognized benchmark for design, construction and operation of highaperformance buildings. She is a member, former chair, and chapter director of the National Association of Women In Construction, and an author for numerous publications, and has given many presentations.
