Biography:

Alvin Fuentes has been teaching for over 20 years in the field of sciences, physical education, kinesiology, wellness, health and nutrition. He has been teaching higher education since 2003.

He has two Bachelor Degrees, in Biology and Physical education from Atlantic Union College. He also has three Masters Degrees one on Outdoor Education from Southern Adventist University and two others in Exercise Science and health promotion & Performances Enhancement and Athletic Injury Prevention from California University.

His hobbies are watching Major League Baseball in different cities and cooking food for friends and family. Also, he loves to travel to new places especially on mission trips.

He is happily married to his wife Rachel who works as a 2nd grade teacher at Spencerville Adventist Academy. They have two adorable children, Isabela (15) and Sebastian (12).

Research and Professional Activities:

His educational goals are to finish his Doctoral Degree in Health and Wellness from the California University of Pennsylvania by spring 2021.
