The Family Fun Festival is an annual family-oriented event on the campus of Washington Adventist University.
The festival features food from local restaurants, live music, children’s entertainment, and local businesses. WAU’s Family Fun Festival is a locally established tradition, and has provided wholesome entertainment to the community for over a decade.

The annual Family Fun Festival is an opportunity to promote local programs, resources and services available to the community of Takoma Park. Traditionally supported by Washington Adventist University (WAU), the City of Takoma Park and Adventist HealthCare (AHC), this festival reaches wide to benefit the greater Washington D.C. community as well.
WAU has a thriving student population committed to community development and involvement. WAU’s annual Service Day program attracts more than 500 students eager to participate in projects throughout Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. The Family Fun Festival is organized by a student organization, Enactus. Enactus partners with nonprofit and for-profit organizations to identify needs in the community and help solve those needs.
The goal this year is to raise $40,000 to cover the expenses of the festival along with providing support student community development projects in the bi-county area. Your tangible gift can help give our students rewarding opportunities in helping others.
