Biography:

Alvin Fuentes has been teaching for over 20 years in the field of sciences, physical education, health and nutrition. He has been teaching higher education since 2003.

He has two Bachelor Degrees, one in Biology and the other in Physical education from Atlantic Union College. He also has two Masters Degrees one on Outdoor Education from Southern Adventist University and another in Exercise Science and health promotion from California University.

His hobbies are watching Major League Baseball in different cities and cooking food for friends and family. Also, he loves to travel to new places especially on mission trips.

He is happily married to his wife Rachel who works as a 2nd grade teacher at Sligo Adventist School. They have two adorable children, Isabela (10) and Sebastian (7).

Research and Professional Activities:

His educational goals are to finish his Doctoral Degree in Health and Wellness from the University of the Rockies by spring 2016 and a third Masters in Athlete Performance and Injury Prevention form California University this spring 2014.
