Christmas Concert Advisory

Takoma Park, MD. (November 28, 2018)—The Columbia Collegiate Choral, ProMusica, and New England Youth Ensemble of Washington Adventist University will headline WAU’s annual Christmas concert this Friday evening.

The program promises to be a potpourri of festive works by composers past and present, including Delius, Glinka, and Stroope. WAU student soloists, carol arrangements by Director of Choirs Anwar Ottley, and congregational carol singing will highlight the program, which features performances by WAU’s Baroque Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble.

The concert is open to the public. Seating is on a first come, first served basis, so arrive early to enjoy the prelude music. A free-will offering will be taken to support WAU Department of Music’s community outreach.
