FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL RETURNS NEXT SPRING!
Takoma Park, MD. (September 6, 2018)—Washington Adventist University’s annual Family Fun Festival is returning to its regularly scheduled time as the grand finale to our Alumni & Parents Weekend. The next Family Fun Festival will take place Sunday, April 14, 2019.
As many Festival-goers may recall, the 2018 event was postponed until Fall due to a forecast of dangerous thunderstorms. We are disappointed that preparation for a Fall Festival did not go as planned, but we’re looking forward to picking right back up next Spring.
“We’re excited to bring our local Takoma Park community together here on the WAU campus for a fun-filled afternoon of family-friendly entertainment,” said Amy Ortiz-Moretta, Vice President for Student Life. “We thank our many vendors and sponsors for their understanding and continued support.”
Many Family Fun Festival vendors have already signed-up for our next Spring’s event. If you have questions, please contact us at festival@wau.edu or (301) 891-4125.
