WAU Hosts First Talent ID Camp, Signs Four New Recruits

TAKOMA PARK, Md. – Washington Adventist University (WAU) recently hosted its first-ever Talent Identification Camp, designed to expedite the matriculation process for prospective student-athletes. This innovative event resulted in the signing of four players to the university’s athletic programs:
- Kemoi Jones – North County High School
- Nicholas Vega – E.L. Haynes Public Charter School
- Steven Bonilla – Bell Multicultural High School
- Neijer Davis – Charles Herbert Flowers High School
Building on the success of this inaugural event, WAU has announced its next ID Camp, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. The event is expected to draw over 40 students and their families to WAU’s campus, offering a comprehensive evaluation opportunity for student-athletes.
