MS in Nursing Education
The Master of Science in Nursing Education offered through the School of Graduate and Professional Studies prepares nurses with clinical expertise and passion for teaching to get certified to prepare new students who want to become nurses.
The Master of Science in Nursing Education helps students acquire essential knowledge and skills in the teaching and learning process.
Additionally, students will learn how to facilitate learning, design curricula, apply assessment and evaluation strategies.
According to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, there is a shortage of nursing faculty due to an aging population of nursing faculty. Additionally, The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the number of advanced practice nurses may increase by 26% from 2018-2028.
You can change your career path without changing careers, which will broaden your advancement opportunities.
