Washington Adventist University follows all regulations and policy guidance in the usage of the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). SEVIS is an internet-based system providing the government, educational institutions, and exchange programs an automated means to exchange timely information about foreign students, exchange visitors, and their dependents.
All individuals seeking F-1 status have a SEVIS record. Below are the steps for getting a SEVIS ID number and obtaining a WAU I-20:

Once all your forms and documents are received and Admissions DSO will review your request and create your I-20 in 3-5 business days. You will receive an email with the information needed to schedule your U.S. visa appointment:
