Benin Lee graduated from Columbia Union College in 1991 with a BA in biology he went on to Kettering college and graduated with a physician assistant degree. He completed his masters degree in PA studies at the university of Nebraska. He has served the PA field as a board member of the Veterans affairs Physician assistant. He has achieved the status of distinguished fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants. And in 2014 he received the Outstanding Physician Assistant leadership award from the Veterans Affairs Physician Assistant Association
He has served his church as elder, pathfinder director, health ministries , and religious liberty director. His primary focus over the last 30 years has been youth:
He is particularly interested in health education and simulation activities as a way to address disparities and biases observed in healthcare.
He strongly supports Adventist education supporting several schools physically and materially.
