Elder Hastick currently serves as the president of the Chesapeake Conference since January 1, 2026. Prior to that, he served as the Conference’s executive secretary starting in
2021.

Elder Hastick began his ministry in 2011 in the Chesapeake Conference as pastor of the Aberdeen Church, later serving the Reisterstown and South Carroll churches. In 2017, he
was elected Communication Director and later served as Assistant to the President for Communication beginning in 2020.
Elder Hastick and his wife, Heather, met while attending Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University). They have three daughters: Brianna, Ashlyn, and Aubrey
