Dr. Jorge Isaac Aguero was born in Venezuela. He has been married for more than 38 years to his wife Amalia. They have two grown sons. Both of them graduated from Andrews University. He is a grandfather of four grandchildren. Dr. Aguero is a pastor with more than 40 years in pastoral ministry. He has a doctorate in Ministry from Andrews University. Also, he has a diploma of Biblical Counseling from Light University. Currently, he is the president of the New Jersey Conference. Through his career he has worked as a professor of theology, chaplain, Sabbath School, Family, Health, and Personal Ministries director.
