William Miller

President of Potomac Conference

William Miller graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts from Pacific Union College, majoring in Theology. In 1985, he earned a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University, graduating summa cum laude. He is currently working toward a doctorate in ministry at Andrews University. 

He has worked his whole career for the Church, beginning as a college pastoral intern at the Northern California Conference in 1978, and holding positions with youth ministries, pastorships, and as a Bible teacher within the Pacific Union Conference. From 1996 through 2001, he was a senior pastor and vice president of administration at the Olympia Seventhaday Adventist Church in the Washington Conference. From 2001 to 2006, he served as president of the Minnesota Conference in the MidaAmerica Union Conference. Since then, he has served as president of the Potomac Conference. 

He is married to Sally, a nurse, and the couple has three adult children.Â
