Ashlee Chambers Appointed Dean of Halcyon Hall

Dr. Ralph Johnson, Vice President of the Center for Student Life, announces Ashlee Chambers as Dean of Halcyon Hall. Chambers, an alumna of Washington Adventist University (2016), began her employment in February 2020 as the Assistant Dean of Women. She then stepped in as the Interim Dean in October 2021 and has shown the residents of Halcyon Hall along with her superiors that she is the woman for the job.  This appointment also reflects a title change from Dean of Women to Dean of Halcyon Hall, which now aligns with best practices in higher education.

While an undergraduate, Ashlee was active in numerous student organizations and activities such as Enactus, ProMusica, part of the Singspiration team under Campus Ministries, a member of the BSU Gospel Choir, and served as the secretary for her graduating class. She was also a student employee for the Office of Student Life. A self- proclaimed poster child for WAU, Ashlee says she has no regrets in choosing this university as a student and is thrilled and honored to be chosen as the Dean of Halcyon Hall.
