Biography
I moved to the US from Pune, India to Cambridge, Maryland as a tween. Â I love to read, listen to music and spend time with family and friends. I love teaching, especially the Bible and nursing, age no bar.
Professional Activities
I graduated from CUC with my BSN, RN and was a Maternity Nurse for 20+ years at WAH, eventually working as an Assistant Nurse Manager and Lactation Consultant. Next I worked as a Pediatric Triage Nurse and Lactation Consultant for a Pediatrician’s office for 10+ years.  Then I homeschooled my children, while working part time as a homeschool co-op teacher, substitute high school teacher, WAU Maternity Professor and Clinical Instructor, and earning my Faith Community Nurse certification and RN/Delegating Nurse/Case Manager certifications. Currently I am the Nursing Education Clinical Coordinator at WAU. I have had an alphabet soup of certifications along the way: BSN, RN, RNC, MA-HCA, CCE, IBCLC, FCN, RN/DN/CM, but I am known as Mrs. K to my students.
