Washington Adventist University congratulates Dr. Baraka Muganda, Vice President for Campus Ministries, on his retirement, effective August 1, 2018.

We thank Dr. Muganda for his service to our learning community and to the Seventh-Day Adventist church.  A former president of the Tanzania Adventist College and World Youth Director of the Seventh-day Adventist church, Dr. Muganda’s accomplishments on campus included developing annual devotional themes, revamping the weekly Convocation, instilling a focus on missions, and creation of our annual Revival.

“I want to express my appreciation to Dr. Muganda for his contributions to the growth and development of the University,” said Dr. Weymouth Spence, President of WAU.
