Title of Takoma Park: Second Annual President’s Invitational Showcases Local Soccer Powerhouses

Takoma Park, MD — High school boys’ soccer takes center stage as Takoma Academy and Don Bosco High School square off in the Second Annual President’s Invitational, proudly themed “The Title of Takoma Park.” The match will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 3:30 PM on the campus of Washington Adventist University, uniting the Takoma Park community for an evening of top-tier competition and hometown pride.

Launched last year, the President’s Invitational was created to spotlight local athletic talent while strengthening community ties. The inaugural event drew a good crowd and a thrilling finish, setting the bar high for this year’s installment.

The Title of Takoma Park reflects the passion and commitment of these student-athletes, and it’s an honor to witness such a strong tradition growing right here in our city.
