Washington Adventist University is Ready to Welcome Students for Fall 2025 Semester

TAKOMA PARK, Md. — Washington Adventist University (WAU) is set to welcome students back to campus for the start of the Fall 2025 semester, offering a fresh start for returning students and an exciting first step for new arrivals.

Move-in Day kicks off the academic year on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, as residence halls open and the campus comes alive with energy and anticipation.

New students will participate in Orientation Week from Monday, Aug. 18, through Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025. The weeklong program is designed to help freshmen and transfer students adjust to campus life, meet new friends, and connect with faculty and staff. Orientation activities will include campus tours, resource workshops, and social events to ensure every student feels at home.

The first day of classes will be Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, marking the official start of the semester.

Students are reminded that registration for Fall 2025 ends Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, and the add/drop period closes on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025. Those needing to adjust their schedules are encouraged to meet with their advisors before these deadlines.
