OASIS BERCO: Team Pod Installed on WAU Campus

Written by: IMC Department

If you walk into Wilkinson Hall on Washington Adventist University’s campus, you will immediately be greeted with a new installment called the Oasis Linear. This fascinating glass pod with two comfortable chairs and a “right-sized” table is placed right in Wilkinson’s lobby. There is something about this pod that has an aura of peace, and it brings something to the campus that has never been seen before.

The Oasis Linear was donated to the school by WAU alumnus Milton Morris, a consistent and major supporter of the university. He gave the school this piece based on the mission of what the Oasis Linear stands for. It’s all about team building and coming together. With so much going on in the world today, it’s nice to have something that brings back community to the forefront.

This Oasis installment is a beautiful and minimalist piece that invites one-on-one interaction with privacy but also openness. It’s a unique way to start off the upcoming semester, and we are excited for students and employees to use the pod!
