Jennifer Albury, MBA joined Washington Adventist University as Alumni Relations & Annual Fund Manager in the Department of Advancement and Alumni Relations in August 2018. She has since taken on the assignment of Interim Executive Director of Development, Advancement & Alumni Relations in March 2020, which is now an official position.
She possesses an extensive background in the non-profit sector, most recently serving as Human Resource Generalist and Interim Director of Development at the Rescue Mission of Utica in New York. She holds a Master in Business Administration from Washington Adventist University and completed her undergrad in Intercultural Communications and Public Communications. Shortly after graduating with her undergrad, Jennifer began working for the US Government as an NCS Language Officer, specializing in communication affairs abroad. She has since also worked as a high school teacher and marketing coordinator.
She is married to Brendon and has two children Keith (6) and Charlotte (1). Jennifer is excited to have returned to WAU after several years; she welcomes the challenge of serving diverse communities and participating in such a dynamic area Washington Adventist University can be. She believes that regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, financial, or economic status, all people should have an opportunity, to improve themselves. To give an individual the skills and inspire others to improve themselves enhances the WAU community and in return, creates an empowered community.
