Music: Keri Tomenko

KeriTomenkoKeri Tomenko is a graduate of Washington Adventist University with a BA in Music. She continued her studies at the University of Maryland with a MM in Violin Performance with an emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy, 2003. Keri has studied privately with Ronda Cole, Gerald Fischbach, John Kendall, Virginia-Gene Rittenhouse, and James Stern. Keri is on the faculty of the Greater Washington Suzuki Institute and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Suzuki Association of the Greater Washington Area. Keri is the director of a large Suzuki violin studio in her home in Takoma Park, MD. Graduates of Keri’s studio have continued their violin studies as music majors at American University and the University of North Carolina in the prestigious studio of David Russell. Keri enjoys traveling the world with her violist husband and son, a love that was cultivated while she was a student at WAU performing and traveling with the New England Youth Ensemble.
