Biography:
Since graduating with BSN from Andrews, has practiced in Chicago, Detroit, Nashville and Michigan as an acute care RN; has Taught in academia (didactic and clinical) more than 14 years, and served as interim chair of an Associate Degree Program and as clinical faculty for a BSN program. Other practice areas include developing and managing a Diabetes education center for the government of Bermuda, and as a Staff Development Specialist. Currently directing and teaching in the RN-BSN program for Washington Adventist University, Takoma Park, MD.
Research and Professional Activities:
Presently completing dissertation research for Instructional Technology degree from Northern Illinois University with emphasis on online learning vs. F2F outcomes. Major interest in benefits of instructional course design for nursing education, nursing staff development and nursing competency attainment to meet requirements of academic education, Joint Commission requirements and institutional learning goals.
