Spring 2013 Chemistry Seminar Series

The departmental seminars began on March 25th, with a presentation by the Physical Chemistry class on “Physical Chemistry for the Life Sciences”, and focused on the application of physical chemistry in medicine.
The departmental seminar series continued on April 15th with a presentation by the Organic Chemistry class on the role of organic chemistry in the synthesis of medicines.
The Biochemistry class will close out the series on April 22nd with creative expressions of metabolic pathways.

Spring 2012 Chemistry Seminar Series
The Spring 2012 Chemistry Seminar Series focused on the role that chemistry plays in developing new medicines, the role of chemistry in forensics, and visual aids for metabolic pathways.
The departmental seminars began on February 20th, with a presentation by the Organic Chemistry class on “Organic Chemistry Within Medicine”.

On March 19th the Quantitiave Chemical Analysis class gave a presentation on “Forensics and Microchemistry”, and the Biochemistry class closed out the series on April 16th with models of metabolic pathways.
