Freshman Class Welcomed at Gateway Ceremony
Washington Adventist University (WAU) welcomed the class of 2016 with its traditional Gateway ceremony and dinner held in the dining hall and on the commons, August 28. The refurbished dining hall with its shiny new furniture provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony welcoming the freshman class.
Family Picnic Provides Getaway for Employees
Washington Adventist University employees recently took time off to enjoy a late summer picnic, organized by the department of human resources at Centennial Park.
Faculty and staff took advantage of an afternoon off, the promise of great food and the opportunity to relax with family and friends before the start of the new academic year.
