April event expected to bring hundreds to campus
TAKOMA PARK, MD (March 28) – More than a century of tradition will be on display, April 12-15, when Washington Adventist University hosts its 107th annual Alumni Weekend. Hundreds of alumni are expected to visit the campus for the weekend, which will culminate with the Family Fun Festival, starting Sunday at 12 p.m. and ending at 5 p.m. on the WAU Commons.
“This is a much loved WAU tradition,” says Bruce Peifer, Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Affairs. “Our alumni mean so much; we look forward to them coming back, reconnecting with us, sharing their experiences and mentoring current students. We deeply value this annual event, and this year is even more special because of all the growth taking place here.”
